About
Gabriella was elected in April 2020 to represent District 2. In her two years on council, Gabriella has been a champion of sustainability and climate change preparedness. Because of her leadership, Fitchburg has its first hybrid vehicle, new funding for solar panels, a USGS water monitoring station, more staffing in the Forestry Department, and a forthcoming Sustainability and Climate Resilience Plan.
Gabriella’s background is in geology. She works in non-profit fundraising, currently at the Morgridge Institute for Research. She lives in Fitchburg with her husband Patrick. In her free time, she is a Girl Scout leader for a troop of Juniors and enjoys rock climbing, knitting, and collecting four leaf clovers.
